Picturing Science

This exhibit at the American Museum of Natural History features the intriguing and uniquely beautiful images recorded as AMNH scientists explore our universe at the microscopic and the cosmic scales. The primary design challenges were to marry very disparate imagery in the same gallery and create a flexible typographic system to accommodate a complex information hierarchy in which over 40 images and 20 scientists are represented.
