Hello! I’m Vidya Cowsik Santosh, a designer, artist, and educator. I build experiences that help people creatively integrate their experiences, values, and identities.

As a senior designer at Local Projects, I worked with the Equal Justice Initiative to create The Legacy Museum, and remain engaged with work that engenders equity and healing.

I now apply the same user-centered approach through culturally responsive pedagogy as a teaching artist. I recently graduated from the Teaching Artist Project and have taught residencies with City Lore, the Brooklyn Arts Council, and Symphony Space.

I’m deepening my lifelong work in performing arts as a training member of Big Apple Playback Theatre and a bharatanatyam teacher at Malini Srinivasan’s Gitanjali Dance School.
