American Vedantist 

American Vedantist is a not-for-profit journal dedicated to spreading ideas of spiritual unity. I worked to bring the editorial design of the magazine reflect the beauty of the ideas it represents and communicates. 

The new visual identity embodies American Vedantist's mission to make ancient spiritual philosophy global and cross-denominational, and apply it in a modern world. The custom sans-serif blackletter and corresponding drop caps harken traditional western religious texts, while clean circular and linear type and graphics to embody the journal's contemporary relevance.
